Little Sweden, USA
Lindsborg was founded in 1869 by Swedish immigrants led by Pastor Olof Olsson. Known today as "Little Sweden USA," this charming Kansas town keeps its heritage alive through art, architecture, and traditional festivals.
The town is famous for its "Wild Dala Horse Herd" — large, brightly painted Swedish horse statues scattered throughout the streets.
Home to the historic Swedish Pavilion, which was originally built for the 1904 World's Fair in St. Louis.
A private Lutheran college founded in 1881, central to the town's academic and cultural life.
